Statins, Cholesterol, and Dementia – P

Placeholder

Mostly this should be about statins, enumerate the more common ones, how effective they might be, side effects. Statins are pretty notorious, there is a suggestion that they are effective at lowering the “bad” cholesterol but don’t help and may even hinder the “good” cholesterol. We’ll get into the research on that.

There is a warning out on hydrophilic statins (we’ll get into the 2 categories that way) that suggest a correlation with dementia. We’ll dig into that and see if it has merit.

PS. This is a place holder. That means I have not done all the due diligence. Don’t take the above as actionable.
